Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Last night we enjoyed an impromptu ballgame courtesy of our friend John Means at the Huntsville Stars ball field, a farm team for the Milwaukee Brewers.  The Stars were playing the Montgomery Biscuits--interesting name I know.  The Stars were triumphant 6-4.  Davis plucked a foul ball out of the air after one bounce on the pavement and had it signed by Homer the Stars' Skunk and Fernando Cortez of the Biscuits.  You're probably wondering why the Stars have a skunk for a mascot when they could just have a star.  I have no idea.  It must have something to do with the Crimson Tide Elephant and the Auburn Tigers War Eagle.  Alabamans just can't seem to decide on one mascot at a time.
