Chickens With Their Heads Cut Off

Sorry for so long in posting something new, but by the title you can deduce what our life has been like the past week or so. We have traveled from Huntsville to Memphis to Fayetteville. Today Scott, Jo and I leave for Memphis again to be with our team for MRN's Quest. No, we are not going on some delirious Don Quixote style journey fighting windmills. Quest is a weekend of analysis of the psych tests we took earlier this year to make sure that none of us on the team are crazy, to help us understand ourselves better and receive some constructive criticism from qualified professionals. Last weekend we met our newest team members Shay and Juli Smith from Austin Texas. They are expecting a baby girl in November. Criag, Merschon, Ben and Monica were awesome hosts for our July 4th together. We broke the law by using sparklers within the city limits. Good times. Note to self: do not light all the sparklers in the box at once. We got to Fayetteville Sunday night about 8 and the kids were excited to see the new additions to the Karnes' Kids Clubhouse thanks to Grandad and Uncle Hank. Monday we slept in, visited friends in our old neighborhood, ate dinner with family. Tuesday we picked blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Bailey partyed with Lambri for her 8th birthday, I got two fillings, Davis and Braden had a sleepover, I machine quilted 3 quilts. Wednesday brought lunch with the Bolays, dropping off Lambri, taking Staci to the quilt store, church and Andy's frozen custard. Sunday we will come back to pick up the kids and then get back to Huntsville on Monday. I'm tired. Enjoy the pics of our team and 4th of July festivities.
