Tuesdays with Annette and Ritchie

Our team is blessed to have the best support system here in Dublin through the Ranelagh church. One of the most gracious is Annette Grant. Selfless, kind, thoughtful, compassionate, caring, strong, big hearted to name a few adjectives. Annette has stepped in to watch the team kids while the team adults teach conversational English on Tuesday evenings. I feel confident leaving Davis and Bailey with Annette and Ritchie because I know they are being loved and (hopefully) learning from this beautiful couple. We are so blessed to be counted among their friends!

Smooth Operator

Huge ice cream

Huge flower arrangement with a dozen lilies

Huge...well, a really beautiful sunset anyway off Sutton Golf Course

We had a great time with Granddad while he was here in Dublin. The last night of his visit we took him to the summit of Howth hill to see the bay. It was hazy so we opted for an ice cream run instead. On Tuesday afternoon we came home to this beautiful flower arrangement. That's what happens when your Dad is a smooth operator like mine.

Where the Wild Things Are and 13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Grandma Betty for the band-aids for when I cut my finger off with the whittling tools.

For our Auburn friends out there.

This is what the orangutan thought of us.

Very new male baby gorilla.

Baby Rhino

Jurassic Park plant

Snickerdoodle Pie

The big 13. The teen years. A teenager. Yep, we have arrived. I pray that Davis will be as sweet, funny, clever, talented and teachable during the teen years as he has been for the first 13.

Dingle Day

This will cause...

Bailey petting the friendly manna ray.

Now that's a hat!

On the Inch Strand

We went to the Dingle Peninsula for the first time Wednesday.  The scenery is breath taking! A little windy, but awesome. The aquarium was fantastic, the food was good and the company wasn't bad.  Dad drove on the right side of the car and left side of the road on the way home. I think that's what you call payback for trying to teach me how to drive, lo these many years ago. Speaking of teenagers, Davis will turn 13 tomorrow.  Now I'm officially old.
