After walking two miles today from the Coffey's house to Dundrum Town Centre we caved and got McDonald's for lunch. French fries have never tasted so good. As most of you know, we arrived safely in Dublin and were welcomed by the church family with open arms. We have looked for a house and browsed for a car. We have asked and received advice. We have Skyped home twice and Jo once. We have acclimated to the time change mostly. Davis and Bailey are occupying themselves with reading, awesome playground equipment, their new friends at church, Nintendo, computer games and Irish Disney channel, which looks and sounds amazingly the same. Scott and I haven't had a fight yet. (Stay tuned.) All in all we are doing great. I'll be posting pictures soon when we get our computers up and running. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts as we are praying and thinking of you.
P.S. Thanks for the hat Laura Quigley, it really saved my ears today!

ReplyDeleteAnd glad you haven't had a fight with Scott yet. ;-) I'll stay tuned.
There is no shame in getting McD's--even in Europe. Jason and I ate KFC EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. when we were in Prague. Which is why I gained 15ish pounds while we were there. Miss you guys and can't wait to hear more!
ReplyDeleteLove you!
Five days. You've been there Five Days. That's all it took for you to cave? Come on!
